This policy applies to all gourmet sea salts, organic herb blends, and related edible products. It is based on U.S. food-safety standards and common e-commerce practices for consumable goods. Once a food product leaves our control, we cannot verify storage conditions, handling, or potential contamination. Accepting returns of opened or unopened food items would create health and safety risks for other customers and prevent resale under applicable food regulations (FDA and state food-safety requirements).

U.S. consumer law note: Federal law (including the FTC’s rules on internet and mail-order sales) does not require online sellers to accept returns of non-defective merchandise. Perishable and food products are widely recognized as non-returnable for health and hygiene reasons.
